The last 5.78 weeks have been both a blur, and the most memorable weeks of my life. Here’s a small sampling of what’s happened - the good, and the bad. Music by various artists (including BOTH Cyruses! Cyrii?)
With Fridays off for bonding leave (thanks, California!), I have more time to make videos. Not a lot of time, but definitely more. I’ve been wanting to show you all these “lemon cakes” for a long time.

Misty and I took home the greatest gift we’ve ever received today. He is an amazing blessing, and everything he does is worthy of videoing. Everything.

As the impending joys of fatherhood draw ever closer, I find my lack of knowledge in basic subjects astounding. Music by various artists.

This is both a video about a happy musical coincidence, and an instructional guide to successfully driving around me recklessly and rudely. I’d be a liar if I didn’t say it’s a pretty standard video blog. Did you want something more?
My friend Ben and I make dumb videos on a road trip. I also nearly kiss a cat, which is awkward.
In which I retell the worst thing that ever happened to me ever in the history of my life. I’m not kidding, and I still can’t believe I posted this.

Charlie cut his hair, and I filmed it. The result has a very wedding video-esque vibe to it that I sort of liked, so I kept it. Professional videographers, feel free to contact me to take advantage of my keen eye and steady hand. The music was composed by Mozart and played by nerds.

Charlie and I spent the day together today, and of course, captured the whole thing on video - both the victories, and the (flaming) defeats. Appearing briefly is Evie, Charlie’s beautiful daughter. Watch, and be simultaneously amused and disappointed.
After a long and fruitless hiatus, I made this video, to get me back in the bloggin’ saddle. It’s a rich leather, softened by years of riding, and it fits me well. I’m glad to be back. Hopefully this doesn’t make you cry.

My friend Sean and I used to make new answering machine messages almost every day. Here’s one. Maybe he’ll me show you some more someday. Also, new internet!

I had a four day weekend (Misty only had two), so I made the most of it by driving all over northern California, and learning a new skill. If you love driving, this video is for you. Music: a little Rufus, a little Britney, and a little Scott.
My wife hates spiders. This both tells you why, and shows me valiantly defending my wife’s honor. Enjoy at your own risk, arachnaphobes. Music: “Spider Pig” by Hans Zimmer
Five clips, Five seconds each. All but one were taken the same night, while we ate dinner and played Ticket to Ride, the greatest game ever. Then I decided to get in shape and do the dishes.
Misty and I bought a new camera, and I just had to try it out. Results are in the video, and I think they turned out pretty well.
Note: The flash compression makes it hard to tell a difference between the cameras, but if you look closely, it’s there.
